Mission Rules

Missions are integral to the growth of individuals and clans. As with most mercenaries, Ninja are contracted to do various jobs, ranging from protection to assassination to babysitting. Naturally, the difficulty of these missions are ranked by the letter system used to rank ninja as well, only to a far more skewed degree. Whereas the gap between an A rank ninja and an S rank ninja is only a moderate gap, Mission ranks deviate very heavily. An A rank mission may be difficult, but an S rank missions would be completely outrageous. Above S Rank missions are most of the time, inconceivable for the difficulty, as well as impact on the shinobi world it would have. Missions above A Rank are always death enabled.

E Rank Missions:
E Rank missions are before-beginner missions. Academy student level shinobi are tasked with these special missions. While dubbed missions, they are more akin to "tests" missions used to determine whether an inexperienced shinobi is ready or even has the taelent to progress to a genin. These mission tests focus on the use ofAcdemy level jutsu.

Rewards: 150 Ryo & 300 Exp
Requirements: Complete all test missions, 200 Word Count

D Rank Missions:
D Rank Missions are beginner missions, missions solely used to get weaker and inexperienced ninja used to the system itself, before they take on larger missions. These missions usually involve meaningless chores and basically amount to helping someone live slightly easier. While they are often boring and unimportant towards combat, they tend to make the basis of a clan’s economy.

Rewards:300 Ryo & 600 Exp
Requirements:N/A, 400 Word Count

C Rank Missions:
C Rank Missions tend to be the border between D and B in a lot of ways, both literally and metaphorically. C rank missions generally involve travel, but do not involve any sort of high level combat. If there is combat, it is usually only in the form of a few bandits or animals.

Rewards: 450 Ryo & 900 Exp
Requirements: Genin+, 600 Word Count

B Rank Missions:
B Rank Missions are similar, though far harder. Unlike C rank missions, which tend to be nonviolent and easy, B rank missions are missions where the dangers begin to truly escalate. B rank missions involve missions that either have a high risk, or a solid risk of high level combat, and are always more difficult than C or D ranks. One should not go into a B rank mission expecting an easy outcome.

Rewards: 600 Ryo & 1200 Exp
Requirements: Genin+ Requires at least a SPC Jounin partner, 800 Word Count

A Rank Missions:
A Rank Missions are where the danger becomes obvious, as these missions involve country-wide matters. Anything that could potentially change or alter a city or nation in any way is generally placed here, even those with risks of war. Generally, these missions are also invasion based missions, or plot-event missions. Combat is an absolute guarantee in this rank, requiring skilled ninja to survive, let alone succeed.

Rewards: 750 Ryo & 1500 Exp
Requirements: Chuunin+ Requires at least a Jounin partner, 1,000 Word Count

S Rank Missions:
S Rank Missions are the top ranked missions, requiring nothing less than the best of the best. These missions could potentially change the world, and are incredibly difficult, requiring either the best stealth or the greatest combat ability. These missions are usually covert operations, such as infiltration into other lands for various reasons such as assassination, rescue of ally forces or intelligence gathering. In some cases, being found out(identity or affiliation) could mean execution by enemy forces or even your own village for failing. S Rank and above missions are events that can change the shinobi world or at the least, your own land.

Rewards: 900 Ryo & 1800 Exp
Requirements:Special Jounin+ Requires at least a Shounin partner, 1,200 Word Count

SS Rank Missions:
SS Rank missions are usually plot based or at least ANBU level missions. Solo'ing a SS Ranked mission is surely suicide even for the most skilled of shinobi. Generally speaking, a whole team of ANBU are used to carry out missions of this caliber, not all of the ANBU usually make it back alive. Missions of this nature are either war based, assassination of important and powerful individuals in other countries or organizations, or gathering such valuable data to be considered top priority.

Rewards: 1050 Ryo & 2100 Exp
Requirements: Jounin+ Requires at least a Rikunin partner, 1,400 Word Count

SSS Rank Missions:
SSS Ranked missions are the limit to most shinobi's abilities, even then it is a stretch and you are considered more likely to fail the mission and die than to return successful. Missions of this rank are usually on the scale of a full blown war, a Kage assassination or destroying members of Akatsuki-equivalent shinobi. Doing such missions alone are surely a good means to die.

Rewards: 1200 Ryo & 2400 Exp
Requirements: Shounin+ Requires at least a Heinin partner, 1,600 Word Count

X Rank Missions:
X Rank missions are beyond human expectation and imagination. Missions of this nature are few and far between just because of the requirements and opportunity for such historical events. The difficulty of this rank usually involves being lead by your Kage or a kage-equivalent shinobi into battle against forces on part with that of a rampaging Bijuu. Take these missions lightly and you will die.

Rewards: 1,350 Ryo & 2700 Exp
Requirements: Rikunin+ Requires at least a Setsunin partner, 1,800 Word Count
